Richard II: A Critical Study of Literature engages students in an insightful and detailed study of William Shakespeare’s Richard II for the NSW Stage 6 English Year 11 Critical Study of Literature focus area. It has been designed to deepen critical knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the play as a substantial literary text.

To develop their own interpretation of Richard II, students will work through a variety of activities that require them to respond to the play in both critical and creative ways.
