Course Description
This course provides teachers with strategies for programming and teaching Year 12 Extension 1: Literary Worlds. Teachers will learn how to best approach teaching the focus area in the time available and how to leverage aspects of the Year 11 Extension 1 English and Year 12 Advanced English courses. From here, teachers will learn about the value of students developing a portfolio of writing as a means of demonstrating a strong conceptual understanding of Literary Worlds, before moving on to consider ways of modelling and scaffolding responses to examination questions. The course concludes with a focus on crafting effective feedback.
