This incursion prepares Advanced students for Paper 2: Section II - Critical Study of Literature by:

Reviewing the distinctive qualities and features of TS Eliot’s poetry.
Discussing the key ideas and ideas and issues across the suite of prescribed poems.
Walking students through a variety of different essay questions, focusing on question deconstruction and interpretation.
Teaching students how to use their interpretation of the essay question to frame a thesis that demonstrates an informed personal understanding of the poems.
