This incursion prepares Advanced students for Paper 2: Section I - Textual Conversations by:

  • Reviewing the essential context for Richard III and Looking for Richard.

  • Discussing the key ideas and concepts illuminated by a comparative study of the texts.

  • Walking students through a variety of different essay questions, focusing on question deconstruction and interpretation.

  • Teaching students how to use their interpretation of the essay question to frame a thesis.
